TRIO Program Coordinator
The TRIO Program Coordinator will be a lead key liaison and advocate for student participants and provide individual advising and counseling to participants, as well as coordinate program initiatives and services in alignment with the scope of the grant to ensure optimal retention and success outcomes.
The salary range for this position is $46,227.35 to $69,341.02 annually.

Responsibilities:
- 40% Assist with student selection and provide advising/counseling to participants & develop Individual Success Plans.
- 35% Organize program workshops/campus activities/college tours to meet the SSS goals of the program.
- 10% Gather project and participant data to coordinate retention initiatives and programming consistent with SSS goals.
- 5% Assist Director with maintaining current data in the project database .
- 5% Assist Program Director in completing Annual Performance Report.
- 5% Participates in relevant College committees that assist in meeting SSS goals.

Experience : Two years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the college for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.
Other Skills: High level of sensitivity to target populations. Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. Professional or personal experience in overcoming barriers similar to those confronting project participants.
Physical Requirements: The work is typically sedentary. However, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to do the work.
Work Environment: Regular exposure to favorable conditions such as those found in a typical office.
